About erik
Before striking out on his own, Erik spent 15 years honing his craft in boutique shops to global agencies creating breakthrough work for niche to goliath brands from all walks of industry.
As strategist and writer, Erik is continually obsessed with language, human connection, and the quantum evolution of advertising in the digital age. He believes that, while how people consume brand content will continue to revolutionize in ways we can’t yet imagine, making great work will always come down to a single, fundamental principle: A big creative idea that succeeds through public affection.
Erik holds a B.A. in English, Political Science and Philosophy from St. Olaf College. California-born, Minnesota-raised, he has called the Mile High City home since 2006. Off-hours, you’ll find him hiking, running, motorcycling, and exploring the great Colorado outdoors while seeking out the next great craft IPA.
